The London Book Review's brief is to write thoughtful, reflective summaries on whatever books come our way. Our summaries aim to engage with the material of the book, to analyse, and to point in new directions.
The team is a book-study group - a book club. We post regular chapter-by-chapter summaries of the books we are reading. Together with the condensed version of a chapter, we post our own thoughts.
Our site's voice is probing and thoughtful, but first and foremost useful (we hope) - because we summarise.
